Kings Canyon National Park, California

Our favorite family vacation is to camp.  We visited Kings Canyon in the fall and it was great because there was hardly anyone there.

We camped in the Cedar Grove area which was a good central location for our sight seeing.  We saw the giant sequoias that are of awesome proportions.

We hiked along trails and saw old cabins and beautiful waterfalls.

Our longest hike was the 8 mile hike to Mist Falls and it was definitely worth it.

We also enjoyed exploring Crystal Cave with it's amazing formations.
